to both of my blog fans, i am sorry for the delay.
easter was an amazing monster. i have had my head down, shoulders back, and been driving like hard for the past 3 weeks. long days, longer nights. but oh so worth it…..
for the first time ever, the local newspaper gave us a little ink, and we did not even have to pay for it. (http://www.news-journalonline.com keyword calvary). we ended up on the front page both on good friday as well as the monday after easter.
over 400 people came forward to recieve salvation…how awesome is that. it was moving to stand there and see people flood out of the bleachers and into the aisles down to the alter…beautiful.
attendance was strong, over 9k, which is never something to laugh at for one church i guess. I will try to add some photos as well. our marketing push was the best we have had yet. 1k yard signs, 70k+ business card invites, and about 5k posters…whew the printer is hyped easter is over…
on to other fun things:
NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE: if you can read, please go buy this album. iTunes offers a free song from the chicago ep for buying online. Can’t break her fall is my favorite of the new songs. mat is straight up ridiculous. it was good to see him again the last time i was in nashville a few weeks back. he is the real deal and growing fast….
also, jason upton is headed back into the lab in about 2 weeks to drop a new album which promises to be amazing….i pray favor over his life…
on the personal tip, zaya turned 4, we are going to disney on monday to celebrate!
