The goal of any product, church, band, invention, brand, etc, is to make other people talk about your stuff. Sometimes you do some things that make TOTAL sense and make people talk. Other times, you go for something that makes people just talk…

This church was willing to do something unique to get people talking. Do you get it? They wrote it for Jesus to read. It is good when the church, or Christians create a buzz and get people talking about something POSITIVE. We are a religion based on faith, hope, and love…

religion on cnn

i dont know the answer. i am a sinner in need of grace. im looking daily for the cloak of humility that i read about. but here are some questions i am thinking about tonight before i go to sleep….

RELIGION:
1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
2. a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.

as i was unwinding tonight we had cnn on in the room and i heard hilary and obama arguing over religion. what if religion vanished? not god…just religion. what if churches became shelters? what if people lived the love, grace, and mercy? what if a movement took place that was so massive that it could not be ignored? what if we unified? what if we all got on the same page? not universalism, but love. what if all the christians put their agendas away and just worked together to make a difference? it can’t happen right now. to many of said agendas, to much money involved, to many kingdoms. but what if it did, for the kingdom? cnn would not be reporting on hilary and obama arguing over reverends. they would be reporting on how love wins. politicians would not fake beliefs in order to secure positions. they would embrace other leaders because of the difference that was being made. rock stars and celebrities could go back to entertaining and allow the church to stand up and be the ones who build houses, solve aids & poverty and eliminate debt…imagine.
