One of the cool things about where I am at in life right now is the ability to talk to a diverse group of people each week. Some weeks its really innovative people. Some days it is artists or pastors. Some conversations are about ministry, or leadership, opportunities, tools, worship, or music. It is cool to see the diversity of ‘the kingdom’.

I have learned, mostly the hard way, that you learn SO MUCH MORE when you do two simple things:
1. Listen more than you talk.
2. Ask questions. As many as you can. Take advantage of the moment. Gather all the info you can out of the questions.

Stop talking so much. Stop trying to prove what you know. Stop needing to say your piece.
Start listening. Start asking questions. Start finding out what OTHER peoples stories are about.
