Plurk is the latest microblogging site. I don’t think I have time. I am going to have to just stay with my Twitter and Facebook. MySpace is going away for me. Have to streamline so that I can be more focused. Are you going to use multiple microblogs?
Today as I sat and listened to this dude pitch us a mobile digital proposal I found myself asking, how can we maximize this, and how can it be used in churches. Texting, voice messaging, etc…create a mob for your church. It usually is a fan club thing, but make it a Church wide thing…anyone who visits. put it on your screen during church news. put it on your bulletin. have people opt in on your website, then you can communicate with them, via text and vm about what is going on, get response, etc. Really cool idea. I don’t think I know of a church who has a congregation mob. VERY fresh idea.
Today has been one of those days. By that, I mean the days I LOVE! Got a chance to hang with some great people. Have some great meetings. Talk about the 2 things I am passionate about….how to live out church and worship music. I am so blessed to have a job that allows me to do this, daily! Pete and Jenni, have a great thing happening at CrossPoint.TV. Mad cool peeps. Got to kick it with iTunes peeps, Provident peeps, our Nashville office crew…cool stuff.
More to come, just giving you and update. Hope that you got to do some to the things you love today. If you did not, make time…do it now. Do not go through a day without embracing some of the things that God created for you to enjoy doing! Enjoy the life you have been created to live.
