Last night was a moving experience to see the American Idols singing Shout To The Lord for all the world to see. We are so blessed at Integrity to work with such amazing churches, artists, songwriters, and most of all worship leaders.
All the buzz today is how the word Jesus was changed for Shepherd. Jesus is the Shepherd. And if you think about it, the only people who even know that the word was changed are the people who already know the song, and know it well enough to notice the change. Think about the MILLIONS of people who never heard the song before last night? God is doing something and we are blessed to be part of his move. Since January, Integrity has had a presence on the Grammy awards and American Idol. How awesome is that? Sure, today STTL is the #1 downloaded christian single but it is so much bigger than that….GOD IS MOVING. Jay made a great point that if we just do what we are supposed to do, to the best of our ability, God will take that to the max. I doubt when Darlene wrote that song she was thinking it will be on American Idol in front of 30+ million people.
Do what you do and let God put the HGH on it so it reaches the next level. Work hard, pray hard, live love…it pays off. In case you missed it, and a backstage minute from the grammys…God is moving..

Indeed! I was completely amazed! The best part was that most of the contestants didn’t look completely blank when singing it…I’d venture to say that many of them had sang that song before.
And like I said over at my place, the fact that somebody picked that song for the finale certainly tells you that God is at work!
